A graduate from the US Naval Academy, after having joined the Eagle Union’s navy in his 20’s, Fullbird is an experienced naval officer and sailor. One who has participated in the fight against the Sirens from the very start, and later, the Crimson Axis. He has spent much of his life on, and around, the sea. Gaining both a deep-rooted respect and passion for the world’s oceans and has reached a point where being away from it for too long can make him feel uncomfortable. It’s a passion he wishes to share with others, and one that he wishes for others to experience freely and without fear.
At one point in time, he had been married. Yet, unfortunately, his wife has long since passed of unknown causes. Leaving him widowed and childless, having never remarried or sought out another partner. Instead, he has found himself buried in his work as the Commander of the Azur Lane, and his wish for a peaceful ocean.
- Calm and careful. He’s on the older side and tends to take things that aren’t incredibly vital with a certain amount of slowness. Deliberately savoring the moment and attempting to make it stretch for however long he’s capable of doing so.
- Fatherly. Fullbird is childless and widowed, as such he tends to focus less on romantic pursuits and more towards treating the shipgirls around him as adopted daughters, friends, or nieces. He isn’t completely blind to any of the more… impure attentions. But he is still quite content with how things are.
- Goal Oriented. He sets goals for himself. Both in the long term, and the short term. He tends to do his best to think ahead and sets steps to reach those goals.
- Caring. He really does care for those around him. Especially the KAN-SEN under his command. And will often go out of his way to try and make them as comfortable and safe as possible. He’d really rather see everyone happy at the end of the day.
- Works until he drops. He tends to work a little too hard at times. It’s not odd to see him burning the midnight oil. Even if Fullbird would really rather not, and isn’t opposed to listening to others, he will still work until he can’t anymore.
